At first it seemed to be a happy Christmas. The gifts were lovely especially the cooking book (Dr. Oetker, Studentenfutter) that I got from Marina. I was also very happy that my sister Tamara could manage to get the parfume “Iceberg” for me. This parfume is not being produced anymore and only one parfumery in Innsbruck had got some remainders of stock.

At midnight, my parents and I went to the small church inSt. Sigmund, some 20 minutes away from Sellrain, where the Midnight’s mass was held. It was really beautiful. Up there in the mountains was more snow than in Sellrain and that made a wonderful scenery. Also the sky was completely clear. The full moon was up and the stars shone. That was really one of the best masses I have been in.

Today, nevertheless, the following error occured without any reason why on Ankantoiel’s Diary and that drove me to distraction.

WordPress database error: [Got error 28 from storage engine]

I could not think what the problem could be. But after some searchs in the web I found the reason for this error.

This is a MySQL error and has nothing to do with WordPress directly; you should contact your host about it. Some users have reported that running a “repair table” command in phpMyAdmin fixed the problem.

This quote is taken directly from the Wordpress help site. But that led to the problem if a mail to my web hoster would be answered before Thursday when the Christmas holidays are over. I had luck and my hoster is also working during holidays. Ten minutes ago the problem was fixed and now everything is working fine again.
