When the weather outside is frightful,

and since we’ve no place to go,

This is a very popular song, but discribes in just a small and simple way this year’s Christmas and New Year. It was cold, yes, indeed, but there could nothing be seen from snow. Only day after day cold, gray sky. *brrrrrr* And therefore it is no wonder that I got a cold punctually to New Year’s Eve. 
It was horrible to just feel cold and warm and then again cold, to smell nothing, to taste nothing, and to sleep, if it would be possible to sleep while coughing and sneezing. *sigh* How happy am I now that this cold is nearly over.
Ah what other news do I have for you? Yes, of course some concerning the 4-hills-tournament. At first the competition in Innsbruck was cancelled because of the wind. It was so stormy that it was not possible to jump. This competition was made a day after in Bischofshofen. I don’t like Bischofshofen! But it seems that Janne Ahonen loves it now. He was able to win the last two competitions of the this year’s tournament and achieved with that result the fifth victory of the 4-hills-tournament. That is a new record and I am sure that there will not be someone better very soon.
