The Lord of the Rings in Concert

Wow, that concert was so amazing that words fail me. The sound was bombastic and the orchestra, the Warschauer Symphonie Orchester, wonderful. Especially the young female director did her job really good and the two women that sang the solo parts, “May it be” and “Into the West” had so gorgeous voices. Me of course would best fit into the role of Gollum, yes my precioussss, yesss.

Of course, that was not the “original” soundtrack from Howard Shore and he also don’t want to know anything of this production as this articel points out. It also points out that this concert is not really worth its money. I agree that the price of over 60€ is too high, but on the other side I was really amazed and the emotions were running high. I have no comparison to the “original” concert from and with Howard Shore, but sometimes I have the feeling that all these guys participating in the Lord of the Rings movie production don’t want to have others a part of this great merchandise cake (not even the movie director or the actors). :mmm1: Also working together is a term unknown to this whole industry…

To end this short post, I have found a video of the “rip-off” concert from the Warschauer Symphonie Orchester. Please form your own opinion if such a concert is worth to visit it, or not.

Rivendell

Through dangers untold and hardships unnumbered, I have fought my way here to the castle beyond the Goblin City to take back the child that you have stolen, for my will is as strong as yours, and my kingdom is as great -
You have no power over me.
