Currently I react allergic if someone is talking about football to me. The time when I was “fascinated” by 22 stupid gimps running after a ball is long over and now I only wish to be on the other side of the world (I am sure that New Zealand or Japan would be good enough for me) and to escape from this stupid, non-sense European championship. Oh how I wish I could be somewhere else, only a thousand kilometers away. :wall:

So I try my best not to strangle the next guy talking to me about that stuff and just to lock down my ears. That strategy is good working especially if I additionally hum. That irritates people and throws them out of balance. :evil2: On the other hand it is really difficult to pretend to be blind. Everywhere in Innsbruck flags, police and such stuff can be seen. It’s as good as impossible to go shopping without a control of bags, handbags and what else.

To waste my time others than humming, being blind and being deaf I have created a new wallpaper and a fitting signature and an avatar that can be found as usually i the portfolio section of the site. Have fun with that stuff.

Woah, I am back from Tenerife. It was a really great event there, but nevertheless I am happy to be home again (to beback into the green).

The south of the island where our hotel, the Sheraton La Caleta, was located is very dry and not really a great place to make a holiday (at least not for me). Some of us visited the inner of the island and the great vulcano and there it should be very green and jungle like. Nevertheless the hotel was great and so was also the service what is not surprising when talking about a 5* hotel. Near our hotel all restaurants and bars were nearly as expensive as the hotel bar and so I was happy that our institute paid twice for our dinner. I love seafood and fish and took the possibility to eat a Paella.

These four days on Tenerfie past very fast and we had a lot of fun together. Especially the video sessions were thrilling. Our own video was a bit clumsy, but we had much fun by creating the “script” and we had also the possibility to get to know people from other research institutes in Europe. In my group were Doris (also from STI Innsbruck), Antonio from STI Spain and Dave from the Open University of London. As far as I know the videos can be seen soon on YouTube. If I find them I will post the link here so that you have the possibility to enjoy our “achievements”.

I had have much possibility to make photos but I always forgot to take them, but the few I have made I want to show you. :P
