Don’t Stop Me Now

It’s so weird. There are times were nothing seems to work at all, … and then there are times were everything works out more than fine. I am happy that the second case describes my current situation after some years where everything went bad.

Last week I got a new (additional) job offer. It was no difficult decision for me to decide what to do, and so I am looking forward to work in that project. This also means that I can finally buy a new MacBook Pro (after the new ones are available) as I earn a lot more than before. :D I guess that the first two or three months are getting stressful as the website for the project has to be set up and as I have to write my paper for the seminar until end of April. Nevertheless I am happy with all of that.

There were other things happening that I am not happy about. :evil: After some weeks of thinking I have left my WoW guild “Wächter der Innbrücke“. The reasons were numerous. Well, I guess I am no nice and liked person. That would explain why I never had much friends. -.-

I am not sure what I will do in the future. I still like playing, but no longer on that server. Alex and I have already started leveling a twink on another realm. Maybe things will become different there. Labyrinth PurseBut that will show the future, and until that we both are currently playing only on the Arena Tournament server. Arena sucks, but we require 200 rated games to get Murkimus, the Gladiator.

To stop me from being sad I have bought again a Labyrinth patchwork purse from TwiddlerBags. I think it looks so cool and I hope to get it already this week. 26€ (with shipping) is not really cheap, but the bag is worth that price as it is a unique item and as Jareth and Sarah are so great a pair. I am getting evertime very romantic while watching Labyrinth.

If you like animes and mangas I recommend you “The Vision of Escaflowne“. It’s a old anime from 1996, but still one of the best. The characters are so well done as also the scenes’ settings. The soundtracks are equally great and very romantic. I am currently listening them up and down. My favourite songs are the opening theme, the Escaflowne theme and the hymne of Fanelia (track “Fatal” on Escaflowne OST #3). Hopefully I will get the chance to watch the anime soon. I remember that Allen was always my favourite character. :blackeye:

So here comes finally the music video to “Sora” as I couldn’t find a good video for “Fatal“.

Labyrinth Purse

I am so happy. After nearly two weeks I finally got the patchwork purse I have bought on Ebay from TwiddlerBags. The bag is so kawaii. I love it so much, especially the colors but also the Labyrinth image showing Jareth and Sarah. Ah I think I’m more geek than ever. Isn’t that cool?

And as a geek I am, of course, always looking for new Labyrinth stuff. So I was very lucky last week and could find a cool Labyrinth fanvideo on YouTube. The song is called “When You’re Evil” from a guy called Voltaire (not the French writer). I have never heard of him but I like that song.  B)

To get more serious let’s change the topic. This weekend the Nordic Combined World Cup takes again place in Seefeld. And again Marina and I will help out there. I am very curious who will win the races. Of course, I root for the guys from Finland and I guess that Anssi Koivuranta will have good changes to win also both World Cup events in Seefeld as he is in very good shape. That also promises the achievment of medals at the upcoming world championship. Nevertheless it seems that also the Austrian and German guys are getting better shapes as the season approaches.

Beside this all I nearly forgot to gratulate myself to the new design for Ankantoiel’s Diary. I hope you like it as much as I do.  :grin: But there is something I have to add:

I did NOT modify the design that it works in IE6, properly!

Still the greatest part of the page is working in IE6. I think the time must come that people upgrade their browsers to IE7 or use other browsers instead – there are a lot of them out there – and think about IE6’s security issues (not talking about it’s margin-bug, not-ability to display transparent PNGs, and all the other rendering issues).
